Dishwasher Tailored To Singles And Couples.
For the first time in Australia’s history more than 50 per cent of households have a dishwasher (54%) – which is a positive sign for the environment as washing up by hand can use more than twice as much water as using a dishwasher.
Those least likely to want to invest in a dishwasher however, are single households and couples – believing they don’t use enough crockery and utensils to fill a conventional dishwasher on a regular basis.
Omega Appliances, one of Australia’s leading appliance specialists, believes its new compact, six place-setting dishwasher will give singles and couples a tailor-made means to save water and labour during the daily dishwashing routine.
The DW101WA is a simple, understated design in white enamelled finish that uses only 8.7 litres of water for a full load on normal wash cycle. It has six wash programmes, an electronic LED display control panel and residual hot air drying.
Conveniently, this model doesn’t have to be built-in – it can also sit comfortably on the benchtop as it measures only 435mm(H) x 550mm(W) x 505mm(D).
The DW101WA also features a two-stage filter, foldable plate racks and an adaptor hose to ensure it fits most kitchen taps and caravan connections.
Available nationally from appliance specialists, electrical retailers and some department stores, the Omega DW101WA retails for $499.
